Banana Bread With Applesauce
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 ½ cups Thrive Market Sprouted White Wheat Flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Thrive Market Organic Ground Cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon Thrive Market Organic Ground Nutmeg
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
¼ cup Thrive Market Organic Apple Sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with 1 tablespoon butter.In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and applesauce; stir just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
